Anna Digiovanna

-Reimbursement Specialist-


Anna has been a senior healthcare professional for over 10 years. Her experience as a collections manager in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field stems back 2 years where she managed collectors and monitored the daily collection of outstanding receivables. At NSOP Anna works in our Accounts Receivable Department where she handles daily postings, secondary billing and reconciling patient accounts.

Karen Werner

-Owner-

Karen has worked in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field for over 10 years. She has her Masters of Science in Technological Systems Management from Stony Brook University. Karen's specialties at NSOP are Human Resources,  Media marketing as well as Billing and Accounts Payable, Receivables and Collections.

Marc Werner

 -Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (Consultant for NSOP)-​​

Marc is an American Board Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist who has been providing care an treatment to patients throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties for over 25 years.  Specializing in lower limb prosthetic devices and custom bracing, Marc is certified in all major devices and technologies including Harmony vacuum sockets, Genium Bionic Prosthetic System, C-Leg, and more.  In addition to being on staff at nearly all major hospitals, Marc provides services and training at numerous skilled nursing facilities throughout Suffolk County as well as at his own state of the art facility located in West Babylon.
Marc spends his spare time at Yankee Stadium, manicuring his lawn and relaxing by his pool. Contact him at marc@nsop.com


Laurie Favaloro

-Administrative Assistant-

Laurie has been with North Shore Orthotics-Prosthetics since March 2016. She has over ten years of experience working in both the healthcare field and customer service. Laurie is just one of the friendly faces that will greet you at our office. Her main responsibilities include verifying insurance information, authorizing orders, scheduling appointments and following up on deliveries.

Trina Gordon

-Certified Prosthetist-
Trina is an American Board Certified Prosthetist who has been providing care and treatment to patients in Manhattan and throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties for over 15 years. She received her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at John Hopkins University.  Later she received her certificate in Prosthetics from Newington, Connecticut. Trina has worked with patients in a variety of settings, - doctor's offices, nursing homes, hospitals and clinic,s predominantly in the geriatric population.

Carlos Rivera

-Technician-

​Carlos has over 10 years experience in the Orthotic field. He assists in many aspects of the fitting process, manufacturing the most up-to-date technological orthotics. Carlos has developed a strong background in orthotic devices including TLSOs, Spinal Orthotics, RGOs, KAFOs and AFOs.
​On a personal note, Carlos loves dogs, cats and is very musically diverse. In his free time, he watches the Jets, Knicks and wrestling. Email Carlos at carlos@nsop.com 


About Us

Rob Biaggi

Consultant for NSOP

​Rob received his Orthotic certification in 1984 and his Prosthetic Certification in 1985. Rob is qualified in evaluation, design, fabrication and fitting of all prosthetic and orthotic devices. He has done extensive work with a variety of infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients and diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Scoliosis, spinal cord injuries, Muscular Dystrophy and others.  Rob recently retired and is enjoying his time windsurfing,  biking, and kayaking.


Monica Rogers

-Certified Orthotist-

​Monica is an American Board Certified and Texas Licensed Orthotist who earned her Bachelor degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She then pursued her certification in Orthotics at Northwestern University. Monica has 20 years of experience providing a wide variety of services over the years. Monica's experience consists of acute hospital care, pedorthics, and pediatric care. Her ability to speak Spanish is a helpful tool in assuring proper communication amongst patients.
​On a personal note, Monica loves soccer and played through college. After spending 9 years in Texas, Monica is enjoying spending time with family and close friends. Reach out to Monica at monica@nsop.com ​
